CODECS PAPER - Codecs, MP3s, MPEG, University of Otago

Recently I wrote an essay on Codecs (Compression/Decompression) for a paper (INFO410, Multimedia Systems) that I am taking at University. It was titled 'An Introduction to and Comparison of Codecs, With an Emphasis on MPEG Compression' and I think provided a pretty good introduction to codecs.

If you want to peruse my paper then there are two ways that you can do so:

Browse the webposter that I also had to do for the paper. This is basically a summary of the finding of the paper.
If you found the webposter interesting then you can view the original Word '97 document exactly as it was written (or download a zipped copy).

If you do not have the font 'OCR A Extended' then the poster and paper will not look quite as it is intended to. You don't have the font if this and this look the same. If you have a PC, to download it click here.

If you have any problems or questions doing any of this then e-mail me.
